Established for more than 25 years, RAVENSETT is the small select English Setter kennel of Sharon and Graham Littlechild, based in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside, England. It is currently the home of 4 Show Champions and many other Championship Show winning stock and there are now 7 Ravensett Show Champions and two Irish Show Champion title holders in total.
LATEST NEWS - BIBI BEST OF BREED - CRUFTS 2008
The website has finally been updated and we are proud to announce that Sh Ch Ravensett Bianca, 'Bibi', gained her 15th. CC and Best of Breed at Crufts 2008. To top this she was then shortlisted in the Gundog Group by judge Patsy Hollings. Patsy's husband Steve had previously given Bibi Best of Breed at LKA Championship Show in 2006. Sincere thanks to Crufts Bitches judge Gillian Spencer and to her co-judge James Baldwin for agreeing to BOB. It was a great day and we even managed to get home in time to see her again in the Group on the BBC.
And now we announce another Ravensett CC winner. Ravensett My Kinda Guy at Roszarke, owned by Maureen and Steve Collier, won his first CC from Special Yearling class at Paignton 2008. Let's hope it's the first of many more to come! (Last updated 08/08/08)
SUMMARY OF SHOW YEAR 2007
2007 was a superb year for the Ravensett kennel with Sh Ch Ravensett Bianca winning a further 8CCs and 7RCCs to leave her on a total of 13CCs and 13RCCs by the end of the Year. In addition to this she was the English Setter Association's Top Dog based on points scored for placings at Championship Shows throughout the Year. In addition to this Ravensett Faberge became an Irish Sh Ch, handled by Stuart Cummings and Sh Ch Ravensett American Gigolo at Somerled and Ravensett Monique added to their tally of CCs.

NEWS OF PUPPIES
Brigitte's beautiful litter to Sh Ch Mariglen Pengtsson's Legacy have now all gone off to their new homes. Out of the litter of seven as many as five may well enter the show ring. The one dog pup, the very handsome B/B R Rough Diamond (Riley) has gone to Anne and Geoff Lockwood's Woodsett kennel. Of the bitches the esquisite Tri R Diamond Romance (Florence) is now with Karen and Graham Stirk (Grakar) and a beautiful O/B R Hopes N Dreams (Hope) now lives with Nicki Hunt and her family. We couldn't stop ourselves from keeping the very pretty O/B R Florence (surprisingly also called Florence or Flo) and we also have hopes that the B/B R Queen of Diamonds (Lolly) will also be shown by her new family.
